#1. About Tickoo
Tickoo is Kenya's premier event ticketing platform, revolutionizing event experiences through innovative technology since 2025. We connect event organizers with attendees through our secure, user-friendly platform.
Our mission is to provide seamless ticketing solutions while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and customer service.
#2. Account Registration
To purchase tickets or create events, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
#3. Ticket Purchases
All ticket sales are final unless otherwise stated. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to:
- Pay the full ticket price plus any applicable fees
- Receive tickets electronically via email
- Present valid ID matching ticket information at events
- Abide by the event organizer's rules and venue policies
#4. Payments & Refunds
We use Paystack for secure payment processing. Refund policies:
- Refunds require event organizer approval
- Approved refunds take 2-5 working days to process
- Service fees are non-refundable
- No refunds for missed events due to user error
Chargebacks without first contacting support may result in account suspension.
#5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Resell tickets above face value without authorization
- Use automated systems to purchase tickets
- Create fake events or fraudulent listings
- Attempt to circumvent our security measures
- Harass other users or event staff
#6. Intellectual Property
All Tickoo platform content, including logos, designs, and software, is our exclusive property.
Event organizers retain rights to their event content, but grant Tickoo a license to display and distribute event information through our platform.
#7. Limitation of Liability
Tickoo is not responsible for:
- Event cancellations or changes by organizers
- Personal injuries or property damage at events
- Technical issues beyond our reasonable control
- Unauthorized account access due to credential compromise
#8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by Kenyan law. Any disputes shall be resolved in Nairobi courts.
#9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll notify users of significant changes via email or platform notifications.
